A Disciple Knows God’s Grace
“The Disciple” is a series of sermons preached from the Gospel of Mark. The sermons in this series will guide our Community Group meetings in April. The desire is for every person at Grace to consider the following questions.
- What does it mean to follow Jesus?
- Am I a follower of Jesus?
- As a follower of Jesus, are there parts of my life that must change?
- Can the church help me follow Jesus?
Groups will continue this journey with Wednesday’s discussion, “A Disciple Knows God’s Grace.” We will discuss the role of God’s grace in the life of a Christian. You can prepare yourself for tonight’s discussion by doing the following:
- Pray: Ask God to prepare you to hear from Him. Pray through the four questions listed earlier in this email. Pray that God would work in the lives of other people in your Community Group and at Grace.
- Read: Mark 5 will be the text that guides our discussion this evening. Read this text to prepare yourself.
- Consider: These questions will be asked tonight. Consider your answers to them in advance.
Discussion Questions:
- What is the grace of God?
- What does Mark 5 teach us about God’s grace?
- What does it mean to “know the grace of God”?
- What changes should we see in our lives because of God’s grace?
- What practical steps should we take to respond to God’s grace?
