As You Decide to Give
This is the week the people of Grace will decide what to give to Future Grace Phase Two. Here are some final words of encouragement to you.
Take time to prepare for your decision. Read and pray from the Future Grace devotional guide. Read the Future Grace brochure and browse the Future Grace website. Give yourself time to understand the purpose of Future Grace.
Consider the financial aspects of giving. Assess your current financial situation. Look for ways to save and generate money. Make a commitment to financial adjustments as needed.
Consider the spiritual aspects of giving. Think through how your own faith will grow through the giving process and how you will contribute to the discipleship of others.
If you are married, make your decision together. Pray together. Don’t fight about what to give. Yield to your spouse and be patient as he or she works through the decision process. Let the giving decision be a benefit to your marriage.
If you are single, try to include someone else in your decision through prayer, discussion, and celebration.
Act in faith. All giving requires us to trust that God will meet our needs.
Be at peace. Obedience to God is all that is required. Future Grace does not rest on your shoulders alone.
Express the joy. God is working for, in, and through you as you give. Go celebrate this season of growth in your life.
